Knife Sharpening

  • $6 for blades <6 inches in length
  • $7 for blades 6 inches and over
  • Add $2 per knife for serrated blades
  • Add up to $10 to regrind knife profile to repair broken tip
  • Ask for quote for blades longer than 9 inches

Scissors/Shears Sharpening

  • $9 for kitchen/utility scissors
  • $11 for fabric scissors
  • $17 for beveled hair shears/animal grooming shears
  • $25 for convex hair shears (Japanese style)

Clipper Maintenance/Repair

  • $22 + parts Periodic Maintenance for hair/small animal clipper (includes sharpening one blade)
  • $43 + parts Periodic Maintenance for large animal clipper (includes sharpening one blade)

Outdoor Equipment Sharpening

  • $9 for regular/mulching lawmower blade
  • $11 for riding mower/commercial walk-behind blade
  • $14 for manual hedge trimmer
  • $25 for gas powered hedge trimmer – blades removed
  • $10 for chainsaw chains <= 18” bar (+ $10 for entire saw)
  • $12 for chainsaw chains >18” bar (+ $10 for entire saw)
  • $12 for pruning/lopping shears
  • $75 for lawnmower (up to 22” cutting width) routine maintenance – change oil, replace spark plug, service or replace air filter, sharpen blade, cleaning

  • $2 per inch of blade length to sharpen paper cutter
  • $50 to sharpen Hobart meat slicer blade
  • $8 for wood chisels up to ¾” wide
  • $10 for wood chisels wider than ¾”
  • $15 for jack plane blades
  • $10 for cold chisels
